[ Percent ](https://laravel-datatables.com/docs/formatter-percent) Manual Installation =================== If you don't want to use the provided Installer from your dashboard, you can also perform a manual installation of the package using the following step-by-step guide. Prerequisites ------------- Ensure your project uses PHP 8.2+, Laravel 10+, Livewire 3+ and either TailwindCSS 3+ or Bootstrap 5+. Installation Steps ------------------ Follow these steps to manually install the package in your project. Open Terminal window Open a terminal window at the root of your project folder. Adding composer repository Execute the following composer command in the terminal window and replace <license\_key> and <license\_secret> with your actual license credentials that you can find and copy from your dashboard. terminal `composer config repositories.datatables composer https://:@composer.laravel-datatables.com` ``` composer config repositories.datatables composer https://:@composer.laravel-datatables.com ``` Installing the package Execute the following composer command to install the package: terminal `composer require laravel-datatables/laravel-datatables` ``` composer require laravel-datatables/laravel-datatables ``` Publish package configuration Execute the following artisan command to publish the package configuration. terminal `php artisan vendor:publish --tag=laravel-datatable-config` ``` php artisan vendor:publish --tag=laravel-datatable-config ``` Configure theme support Open the Datatables for Laravel configuration file laravel-datatable.php in your projects config folder and make sure the theme setting is set to tailwind or bootstrap respectively. config/laravel-datatable.php PHP `return [ ... 'theme' => 'tailwind', // or 'bootstrap' ...];` ``` return [ ...
