  Loading Indicator
=================

You can now reference a custom loading indicator view directly from your datatable class, without publishing and overriding package partials.

1. Configure a Custom Loading Indicator View
--------------------------------------------

Set loadingIndicatorView on your datatable to reference your own Blade view.

 Datatable property PHP     `public ?string $loadingIndicatorView = 'components.datatable.loading-indicator';` 

 ```
public ?string $loadingIndicatorView = 'components.datatable.loading-indicator';
```

 resources/views/components/datatable/loading-indicator.blade.php BLADE     `                    {{ __('Updating table data...') }}    ` 

 ```

```

When loadingIndicatorView is null or missing, the package falls back to the theme default loading indicator automatically.

2. Optional: Override Package Loading Partial
---------------------------------------------

If you need theme-specific structural control, you can still publish and override the package loading partials.

 terminal     `php artisan vendor:publish --tag="laravel-datatable-views" --provider="MorrowIt\LaravelDatatable\LaravelDatatableServiceProvider"`

Keep loading indicators lightweight and non-blocking so keyboard and assistive users can continue reading existing table content while updates run.
